AMARONE della Valpolicella - Taste the Original!


Amarone della Valpolicella D.O.C.

Amarone is the result of an ancient vineyard’s grapes, exposed inside the heart of classic Valpolicella in a great hilly location.
The mix of its grapes creates a wine which tastes and perfumes harmonize into the memory of its homeland.

Tendone training system with 60 years old vines and typical and almost forgotten grapes.

The vineyards are located inside the hilly area of classic Valpolicella, characterized by a soil composed of clay and limestone, exposed to the morning sun.

Technique: Selection and hand-picking of the best grapes which are left drying for 4 months into wooden crates and then pressed in the first half of January.

Aging: 36 months between big barrells and barriques, 6 months into stainless steel tanks and the following 9 months into bottles.

Grape variety: 60% Corvina + 20% Rondinella + 10% Corvinone + 10% Dindarella, Oseleta, Negrara, Rossignola, Molinara.


Colour: A wine with an intense ruby red colour and garnet reflections.

Perfume: Intense, ethereal, fragrant and spicy, this wine reminds the tastes of baked fruit and fruit preserved in alcohol, especially cherry and black cherry.

Taste: Soft, dry, vigorous and full-bodied, it’s an extremely balanced wine.

Alcohol content.: 15%

Serving temperature: 18°C (uncork it at least one hour before serving).

Recommended pairings: Perfect with red meats, roasted pork and game in general, it pairs with elaborate and savoury dishes, aged and spicy cheeses.
It’s also a wine to taste at the end of the meal and for aging.
